"Bringles"
3D Modelling & Animation Project
Bringles is a fictional potato chip brand created as a playful parody of a well-known potato chip brand. The project focused on developing a 3D character model and using animation to create an engaging interaction between the character and surrounding props. The animation presents the character eating potato chips while mimicking the actions and mannerisms of eating sushi. The exaggerated movements and facial expressions were designed to communicate the character's enjoyment and create a humorous connection between the two experiences. Through this project, I explored 3D modelling, character animation, prop interaction, timing, body movement, and facial expression to create a playful visual narrative. The project allowed me to experiment with exaggeration as a storytelling technique while focusing on how movement and expression can communicate an idea without relying heavily on dialogue.
"Random Object & Movement"
3D Modelling & Animation Project
This project explored the process of designing and modelling an object based on a random idea, with a focus on form, function, and movement. I developed a concept of a box-like object with a handle and an inner space that emits light from the centre. The project allowed me to experiment with how simple and unrelated elements can be combined to create a unique object. I explored the object's shape, proportions, structure, lighting, and movement to give the design a sense of purpose and visual interest. Through this project, I explored concept development, 3D modelling, object design, lighting, and animation, demonstrating how an abstract or random idea can be developed into a visualised 3D design.
